Fishing for Ghosts, Renata Pereira Lima + Maureen Muse (2020 - upcoming) is a time-based installation that sonically and visually slows down and accelerates time through the shifting of personas and physical reactions. The art work becomes a metronome of documentation that dilutes the perceived linearity of time- the video captures the present moment which then becomes a ghost of the past all while the audience is conscious that they are being annotated into the future
